To protect victims of crimes (such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking) who assist government officials in criminal investigations. You may qualify if you are a victim of a qualifying crime, have suffered substantial harm, and have been or are likely to be helpful to authorities.

To protect victims of severe forms of human trafficking, including sex trafficking and labor trafficking (such as forced labor or debt bondage). You may qualify if you are a victim of trafficking, are currently in the U.S. because of that trafficking, and would suffer extreme hardship involving unusual and severe harm if you were deported.

La Visa T es un estatus legal para víctimas de formas severas de trata de personas, tráfico sexual y tráfico laboral (como el trabajo forzado o la servidumbre por deuda). To allow abused spouses, children, or parents of U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) to self-petition for legal status. You may qualify if you have a specific relationship with a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder abuser and have been subjected to physical, emotional, verbal, or psychological abuse.
